Greetings!
"The Garden, Where Things Grow" is a part of The Garden at Thunder Hill and is a non-profit organization.
The theme of the magazine, as the title suggests, is The Garden as a metaphor for life. We will have articles ranging in topic from gardening to cooking, drumming to working with clay and feature interviews and articles with and about the people presenting workshops at the Garden at Thunder Hill. "The Garden, Where Things Grow" is a unique and one-of-a-kind magazine that seeks to promote unity and honors each being's gifts, talents and contributions. Each person that presents at The Garden at Thunder Hill will write an article and be interviewed for the publication in our "Experiences & Conversations" , there are also numerous columns, the "Practical Wisdom" section of the magazine, most of which are listed below.
The Garden is also unique in that all advertisers will be featured in the back in an indexed catalogue format with ads no smaller than 1/4 of a page. We want the people that advertise with us to be seen, with clear readable ads.
We are publishing 50,000 copies for our first printing at the end of this month. This will be a quarterly magazine with distribution as far reaching north as Montreal, west to Rochester, east to Boston and south to New York City (the paper will actually be distributed more widely than the above as pockets of people in PA, DC, MD etc have requested copies for their stores and offices).
Please join us in an endeavor that is centered in the understanding that as we help each other we help ourselves. We would love your support! If you are interested in advertising, please contact us as soon as possible.
