When I planted the Essence Garden that produced the Garden of One Essences etc. I lived in a part of Pennsylvania that has a very heavy clay soil. When I planted the garden I did no amending to the soil, no fertilizing, nothing - I merely planted the plants directly into soil that had just be desodded and put a bark mulch on top. When the Essences were finished I was guided to dig up my garden and give it away. What I found when I went to dig it up was that the earth where the essence garden was had drastically changed. It was no longer a heavy clay soil, it was rich and loamy, in fact I could dig most plants out with my bare hands! And the time span was less than a year. How did this happen? The energy that was brought into the earth where the essences were made had an effect on the land, on the very molecular structure of the earth itself - it's all energy... To continue the story, many of plants that were removed from the garden were given to a friend that had started a vegetarian/macrobiotic bed and breakfast nearby. We planted her meditation garden (consisting of plants from the Essence Garden) over a septic field (that had absolutely no top soil) in late November by the Spring she mentioned to me that the consistency of the soil was different - this was before I mentioned my own garden experiences to her!
